How to Organize a Candidates Forum. On August 8th, 2002, ADAC held a Candidates Forum at the Lakeshore Fitness Center in Birmingham. We invited the candidates for Governor, Secretary of State, and U.S. Senate to answer questions about disability issues. The forum was a GREAT success! People filled the room and overflowed into the hall. Even though a lot of folks left after the Governor's part, more came, so the room was full until the end.
